It may be difficult for the layman to separate the concept of “Spanish” from the Spanish Classical Guitar. Yet, as popular and beautiful as Spanish music and Flamenco certainly are, these music forms are but the tip of the iceberg of the vastness of musical interpretations the Spanish Classical Guitar is able to embrace.

A great amount of baroque and early music (Bach’s among others) that was initially written for the harpsichord perfectly adapts to the guitar, resulting in an absolutely stunning translation.
Even Paganini was a fervent guitar lover and wrote pieces for this beautiful instrument.

So, as you proceed in the wonderful world of the Spanish Classical Guitar, you will learn to go deeper than the initial field of expression this instrument may evoke, and learn to appreciate the variety and beauty of interpretations that the Spanish Classical Guitar has to offer.
